The crewing agency «Equator» was established in 2006 (Certificate ISO
9001:2000 dated 03.06.2008 given by the Russian Register). The company staff
includes high-qualified managers with knowledge of English, computer
programs and work experience in the sphere of crewing and maritime business.
We have more than 2 thousand seafarers of different ranks in our database,
which is being enlarged day-by-day. All seafarers are experienced and have
appropriate diplomas and certificates in accordance with STCW 78/95
Convention. All seafarers have knowledge of English, which is sufficient for
professional and everyday communication.
Each seafarer is thoroughly screened to verify experience, competence and
fitness to forthcoming job, and previous experience and performance
appraisal are checked with former employers. Seafarers' seagoing documents
are undergone authenticable verification at State Inspectorate.
