Sportfishing is using
light tackle for fish like spanish mackerel, cobia, kingfish, small
tuna, bonito and other inshore species. Most Sportfishing revolves
around trolling lures and working rigged or live baits in inshore
waters around inshore headlands, shallow reefs and islands from a
boat, or land-based sportfishing from rock platforms and headlands.
Small to medium sized trolling reels and large threadline reels are
usually used with line classes from 4 to 10 kg, being the most
popular.
