The Central Coast Fly Rodders'
The club holds monthly meetings and outings. Our
monthly meetings usually include a presentation on
subjects such as fishing techniques, fishing
equipment, fly tying and fishing destinations, while
our outings cover most forms of fly fishing from
boat- and shore-based salt water fishing to fresh
water river and impoundment fishing to traditional
trout fishing. Members without boats are always
assured of a seat on a boat during our boat-based
trips. The club also holds fly casting clinics to
help those who wish to improve their casting skills. |

Northwest Fly Fisher's Club of Tasmania -
The North West Fly Fishers Club is based in the
North West Tasmanian City of Burnie. We have monthly

or two or the recounting of a mishap. We invite
guest speakers along to our monthly meetings, who
share with us from an area of their expertise and or

innovations and techniques. The club has access to a
local farmer's dam which we have stocked with trout.
We use this dam to introduce new comers to the sport
and to sharpen our own casting skills. |

based club with members in Townsville, Ingham and
the Whitsundays. The club has a current membership

Hastings Fly Fishers Club
was formed by a small group of like minded local
anglers who have leased the fishing rights ever
since. The 56 acre reservoir is stocked with rainbow
trout of exceptional quality which have a reputation
for being hard fighting and well proportioned fish.
These rainbows are bred and reared by a hatchery in
the West Country and although there are sources
nearer to us, we believe that these are the best
stocks available. There is also a good head of
resident brown trout which should be returned when
caught. |
The Darely Dale Fy Fishing
Club
was formed in Derbyshire in 1862, which makes it one
of the oldest fly fishing clubs, not just in
Derbyshire, but in the country. We own or rent some
three miles of fishing on the River Derwent upstream
and downstream of the main road bridge at Rowsley in
Derbyshire (The Peacock Hotel), together with the
last 3 - 400 yards of the River Wye before it flows
into the Derwent. The water is only open to club

Founded in 1939 in
Seattle, offers public classes in fly tying and fly
casting and sponsors an active youth program. |
Evergreen Fly Fishing Club
Based in Everett, Washington, the Evergreen Fly
Fishing Club has a long and rich history. It was
founded in late 1954 by a small group of avid fly
fishers that included Lew Bell, Bill Beggs, Ted
Knoblauch, Al Knudson, Ernie Larson, Lloyd McChesney,
and Lloyd Solie. Lew was one of the early presidents
of the Federation of Fly Fishers (FFF) and Al
Knudson, whose Knudson spider fly pattern has become
a standard in the Northwest. Early members included
Bill Nelson, another founder of the FFF, credited by
many with coming up with the original idea for a
national alliance of fly fishers. |
