FISH & SEAFOOD RECIPE IDEAS FOR WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS
If you want something different for
a weekend BBQ or special dinner, you will find some easy and delicious fish & seafood recipes here to try!
RECIPE FOR:
Beer Batter for Fish and Seafood (2)
Ingredients:
1-2
lbs. fish fillets
2 cups flour
1 12-oz bottle or can of beer
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. dried dill weed
1 tsp. dried chives
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 tsp. garlic powder
½ tsp. lemon zest
½ tsp. orange zest
pepper
salt
oil for frying
|
|
Method
Rinse
fillets. Mix flour and beer; if the batter is too
thick, use more beer to make it thinner; for a thicker
batter, use less beer. Add remaining ingredients to the
batter. Dip the fillets in the batter and deep fry in pan
of oil (375°) until golden brown. Bake the fillets for
20-30 minutes at 350° until fish flakes apart. |
